She Talks – Real Talk Support Group for Teen Girls ©

Is a weekly group session platform, that serves as a communication tool for high-school-age girls, to discuss pertinent topics that affect them daily, such as parental/family challenges, relationships, school and social environment, etc. Skilled and experienced speakers are also invited to share their expertise in aiding the girls with identifying realistic and achievable approaches to dealing with these various issues.

Girls of Essence Program – Tier 1 ©

Program design to engage middle and high school age youth in a self-empowerment and enrichment setting that focuses on six essential areas of development, self-image/character, health/wellness, education/career, community/leadership, healthy relationships, and spiritual enrichment. Girls of Essence Program – Tier 2 ©

Is a personal development program for elementary-age girls ages (10-12) years old. The primary focus is to address and promote the fundamental skills such as; character building, social etiquette, positive behavior and relationship building in an interactive environment.

My Sister & Me Circle ©

Created to provide early intervention services through peer-to-peer mentorship to middle school-aged girls, to ensure a positive and healthy transition into high school, and to create an open dialogue that promotes a lasting experience of pure sisterhood for reducing the likelihood of high-risk activities and behaviors. 

Caregiver’s connection support group

This is a monthly support group whose aim is to help mothers/caregivers in raising their girls by addressing the various challenges & issues they encounter by identify & implementing best practices and solutions to address these challenges.

Champions Across the Bay ©

The transitional stages of adolescence through the late teen years can be difficult to navigate through the pressures of family crisis, broken relationships, school, personal identity, substance abuse, homelessness, juvenile delinquency involvement, and mental health statistics on the rise. A gender-specific program like My Daughter’s Keeper of Tampa Bay, Inc., can help girls and teens navigate through the learning process and give them the space to express, release and SOAR above these risk factors. Services and resources are provided to meet the individualized needs of Young Adults 18 and over.

“Beautiful Is Me” Project ©

This project celebrates the beauty of becoming a young lady and promotes positive self-esteem building through educating the young girls and ladies about health and beauty, media influence, self-care, social and business etiquette.

Savvy Sistah’s Leadership Program ©

Is designed to help provide the young ladies of MDK with the essential skills, tools and resourceful information that will assist them in being successful in preparing for their personal and educational goals, job readiness skills, and future career decisions. Meetings include workshops, guest speakers, career shadowing, higher education preparation and mentorship.

Rally for Hope Outreach Mission

Meeting the evolving needs of disadvantaged and underserved youth and families with the support of our community partners and donors. Our outreach mission includes weekly snack boxes, amazon prime personal care donation items, our Adopt a youth for the Holiday and back-to-school supplies give-a-way. MDK takes pride in collaborating and serving with other organizations and service providers to meet the needs, of those who are in need throughout our surrounding committees.
